Diamond Select Release MiniMates "Battle Beasts"

For those of you that grew up as kid in the late 80's and early 90's might remember thos classic 2 inch high toys known as the Battle Beasts! Well Diamond Select has released some very cool MiniMates based off the characters from the original line of toys. Read on for more info!


After years of planning, Diamond Select Toys is poud to present their first series of Battle Beasts Minimates! Each two-pack contains two fully poseable 2-inch Beasts, with unique weapons and interchangeable parts! The first assortment will hit Toys "R" Us, followed by an exclusive assortment at comic shops and specialty stores!

Toys "R" Us Series 1 includes:
Vorin vs. Scorpus - The noble ram vs. the massive, scorion desert bandit!
Merk vs. Spidron - Vorin's falcon companion vs. the multi-limbed tarantula!
Gruntos vs. Scalpus - The walrus warrior vs. the snake soldier!
Antalor vs. Nychirix - The solitary moose vs. the bat assassin!

The specialty assortment will include unique paint detailing for all of the Beasts, inspired by the Battle Beasts comic book by IDW Publishing, as well as two key human characters from the series, each with one of the all-powerful Dread Weapons!
Vorin vs. Vachonus - The noble ram vs. the scorpion bounty hunter!
Merk vs. Fenruk - The falcon vs. the tarantula bounty hunter!
