Battle Beasts (1987) Toys

Who remembers those great little figures that were known as the Battle Beasts?! I know that I remember having them in my toy collection as a kid. Sadly I only had a few, but what I had of them were awesome! I remember there was a cartoon based off the figures and from what I gathered there was also a comic book line that I know I would of loved to of come across when I was a kid. My favorite figure was always that of the white lion character, he just looks like a badass Lion Space Pirate! Below are pics of an ad as well as pics of the figures!

Surge (Food)

In 1996, Coca-Cola decided to start producing Urge in the United States under the name Surge, although in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, the name remained the same. In the USA, the product did very well for the first few years, but eventually started to slip in sales. The Coca-Cola company has since ceased production of this beverage in the USA, Denmark and Sweden in 2001, and stopped making the syrup for fountains in 2002. Norway is the only country where one can still buy a bottled version of this soft drink.

Trapper Keeper (Stuff)

The Trapper Keeper is a brand of loose-leaf binder created by Mead. Popular with students in the United States and parts of Latin America from the 1970s to the 1990s, it featured sliding plastic rings (instead of standard snap-closed metal binder rings), folders and pockets to keep schoolwork and papers, and a wraparound flap with a Velcro closure (originally a metal snap closure).
